Greg Yow is employed by Alaris Medical Systems in Creedmoor
as a Principal Design Engineer designing and analyzing medical
devices. He is active in ASME (American Society of Mechanical
Engineers) and has served in various positions including chairman,
secretary, and newsletter editor for the local section. His
specialty is Finite Element Analysis and has used Ideas since
1996. He has worked at General Dynamics, Xerox, General Motors,
and Bell & Howell. Greg holds several patents and is a
licensed Professional Engineer.

Jeff Burdick is currently Technical Services Manager for
Mallett Technology's Research Triangle Park office. Mallett
Technology is an EDS Certified Reseller and Jeff's responsibilities
include technical sales support, training, and implementation
services for EDS-PLM Teamcenter and NX Series products. Jeff
started using the I-DEAS product in 1984 while working for
IBM in Endicott, NY. While working for IBM Jeff volunteered
to be the first ICCON Analysis Special Interest Group leader,
a role he held for 3+ years. After leaving IBM Jeff went to
work for Becton Dickinson in the corporate CAE group located
at their research center in RTP, NC. At BD Jeff performed
injection molding and structural analyses as well as assisting
with rapid prototyping services and product development support.
While working in the RTP area Jeff has actively participated
in the Carolinas ICCON Local User Group by attending and organizing
meetings. Jeff
looks forward to working with and hopefully meeting all of
the EDS-PLM users in the Carolinas.
